The potential of earning online and the huge possibility of the advancement of our business has never been made easier with the help of the World Wide Web. The traditional business of having to setup an actual store, investing on the materials, paying for tax etc… is now almost obsolete as investors are looking the new wave of making business which is done online. This is truly a fact that no one can refute!
With all the possibilities that the World Wide Web bought us, it can’t be helped that someone would actually take advantage of it. It’s common now a days for someone to be scammed while doing transactions online as the website they’re transacting with is fraudulent. This has been a very alarming news especially to us netizens as our source of income normally comes from our business online. The World Wide Web’s loss of credibility can spell the lose of business to no business at all. Thinking about this, we should make sure that our website should look, feel or at least have a proof of credibility to the web users if we want their business. How do we make our site credible to their eyes…? Here are the tips.
Skeptics might even want to meet the owner first before doing the transaction just to prove that owner’s real. Something like this can only happen if you have your contact information on your website. Never underestimate this logic as there are literally thousands and millions of people that’s been scammed online. Although they enjoy doing business online due to the convenience, it can’t be helped that they might feel uneasy doing business with you or for anyone online for that matter due to their past experience of being scammed.
For those who do extensive background checks before doing any transactions, showing them your portfolio just might establish your credibility. Having your portfolio can give them a chance to look your previous works and perhaps even contact your previous clients just to be desperately sure that you’re really. Make sense? ( Of course is does!)
Something like this would establish that you the owner isn’t just a spam but someone’s in-fact managing the site personally.
Always remember that gaining someone’s trust is an essential step of making business. Without trust, you can be a hundred percent sure that no one’s going to take you seriously much less the product or services that you’re selling.

A website has different aspects that you should consider if you want to make it successful in-terms of marketing, earning or simply amusing your potential leads. Although experts have different emphasis on how to make your website successful, all of them would agree that creating a successful landing page is integral in attaining that success. That being said, let’s talk about what a landing page is, and its importance to you and your business.
A landing page is any website that you create for either running email marketing campaigns, organic search engine promotion, press deliverance, or PPC campaigns. Once visitors arrive on your website after clicking a particular link, traffic and revenue is generated, the first thing/page they’ll see after clicking the link is your landing page.
What is the purpose of having a landing page…?
One of Google’s metrics when measuring how important or significant your site is, is the “bounce back” rate of the web users. If there are web users coming in your site and leaving your site in just a matter of seconds or perhaps in a very short span of time, this goes against your site as Google’s Algorithm would see this as your site as lacking in good content. Now I’m pretty sure that you already know by now that with the current focus of the Panda and Penguin updates, the last thing you’d want is for your websites’ pages to be viewed as boring or lacking in content by Google. People are actually penalized by this.
PPC serves as an internet advertising model which assists in directing traffic – in terms of viewers and customers to your landing page – where advertisers will pay the publisher (in this case, YOU) when the ad/link is clicked. Advertisers are keen on selecting particular keywords –usually search engine optimized – which serve their area of interest.
The world we live in is highly competitive and to keep up with its pace, we have to adapt to the new and modified marketing strategies. How can a business flourish without its salesmen and advertising agencies? Running marketing campaigns via your own land page is a convenient way of making money. This provides you with a scope to create a market which caters to a particular audience – selling a particular product minus the additional links – which diverts the customer’s attention.
As I mentioned, after the users click your link, what’ll appear is your landing page right? Considering this, I’m sure that the users clicked your link because your link supposedly points to where they can get the information that they need. When the users are on your landing page, they use this as a point of reference to view even more links to different pages of your website, to view the different resources that you have which would answer their queries. That being said, it’s very important that you not only make your landing page look good, it should be organized in such a way that the information you’re offering to the users queries are easily accessible to them.
Having read these important factors are sure to have pointed out to you how important a landing page is. Never take this for granted and be sure to put a lot of thought in your landing page and make it as craftily as you can. Just a thought, if the customer service representatives are what represents a large company or corporation, then your landing page is what represents your entire website or your business for that matter. You wouldn’t want to be represented sloppily, wouldn’t you?

Apple never fails to deliver the hottest technology with it’s over the edge elegant design and features, which is every tech savvy individual’s haven. Love at first sight coupled with power, elegance and dynamism. When Apple decided to take a leap of fate and start their very own business in notebooks which are one of a kind – with compact designs and mind boggling features – it was soon to be very promising merchandise. The hottest in notebooks are the Mac Air 2012 and the Mac Pro.
Confused whether to purchase a Mac Air 2012 or the Mac pro? Mac Air 2012 is an everyday notebook which means it’s incredibly portable having a measurement of 0.68 inches thick and weighs a mere 2.9 pounds. Apple can proudly boast of Mac Air’s dynamic design which does not compromise the features, unlike many other companies who have great aesthetic sense but are low on the real deal. Mac Air, however, is comparatively low on memory space when contrasted with the Mac Pro. However, it has an Intel Core 2 Duo i5 processor which runs programs smoothly without malfunctioning. One of the most appealing features of this product is the Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics processor which is your entry card into a world of magnificence and grandeur for every color and pixel come to life, since the card drives around four million pixels of color on the display screen. Many of you may wonder “what about the speed?” Worry not, for Apple never compromises speed. This version of Mac Air is incorporated by the Mac OS X Lion operating system. This beast of a notebook is available in 11” as well as 13” screen. Mac Air 2012 is recommended for everyday users and light gamers.
Mac Pro, as the name suggests, has been designed for professionals – be it professional gamers, computer engineers, or heavily loaded business corporate. This hottest inbuilt technology for the Pro is the retina display – with the globe’s HIGHEST RESOLUTION DISPLAY – which makes it the goddess of all Macs! Bow down to Apple’s sheer genius. Five million pixels! Who would’ve ever imagined Apple to complete such a difficult task especially after Steve Job’s death? Brimming with quality, it’s strange to view images on the 15.4” screen with such rich and refined details. The notebook not only appeals to the eyes but is also super responsive. All the credit goes to the flash storage which quadruples the performance of an ancient hard drive. Wait for the final detail to be blown away because Mac Pro consists of the greatest mobile quad-core processor on the market which is the Intel Core i7. When you decide to purchase either one of the aforementioned notebooks, be prepared to experience a whole new computing experience.

Wanting to get a high PR for your website is a goal that almost everyone has when putting up a website. Although it’s true that others may have just created a site for passion, I’m sure that everyone would agree that majority of website owners do this for marketing and financial purposes.
One of the best ways if not “The” best way of adding contents to your site to get a good SERP is through article writing. Although there are several components that make-up SEO article writing, one thing’s for sure… writing an article with good content alone is not enough if you want to capitalize on your articles functionality.
There are several components on how SEO article writing works but let me talk about the importance of using the H tags as I feel that these are greatly undervalued.
For some unexplainable reason, a lot of people don’t use headings/subheadings (Also known as the H tags) even if it adds SEO value to their article. The way it works is that when you use headings or subheadings with your keywords… It helps the WebCrawler from Google understand what your page is all about. In addition to that, it tells the WebCrawler the important parts of your page which helps for better indexing. Imagine, if the WebCrawler sees that what’s important on your page is your “keyword target” because you used H1 (Heading) on it, I’m sure you’ll agree that it’ll give you weighted SEO value on your article.
In a society where easy access or easy gratification is given, writing an article with no headings/subheadings can be an eye sore. If you put yourself in the users’ shoes, seeing an article without any headings/subheadings would mean tedious reading. Should you add heading or subheadings though, it becomes a different story. Seeing these will help the user get a better understanding of what your article is about in a quick glance. They won’t have to “risk” spending their time in useless reading since they’re sure that your article is what they’re exactly looking for due to the headings/subheadings in your article.
Since it’s normally written in bold (since the style can be adjusted), the readers would understand that the author of the article is emphasizing on this specific idea. If you have good content, without emphasizing on the important parts, the readers just might miss it. Now wouldn’t it be a shame if you took your time writing the article as craftily as you can only for the readers to miss your point due to the multiple ideas in your article?
After reading this article… you’re convinced right? You now understand how using headings and subheadings would help you when doing SEO article writing, am I correct? These extremely important points are not to be neglected if you want to get your site better SERPs. To be more blunt about it… using the H tags will not only make your SEO article writing more readable, it’ll also help you get the traffic that you need.

The competition in technology just got so tougher than ever. Almost every month, a new product is being introduced to the market by some of the world’s reputable brands. Microsoft, Apple, Samsung and HTC, to name a few are in serious competition to prove who will rule in terms of popularity, high-end features and, of course, sales. That is why it did not come as a surprise when current technology news revealed that Apple and Samsung have taken their competition to a whole new level.
It is known that Apple recently claimed that Samsung had infringed some of its patents with the release of Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus. Apple, being one of the top in its field, was determined to take legal actions on the matter. It could be remembered that the technology giant had brought the patent infringement issue in the court early February.
Last week, current technology news has shown that US district judge Lucy Koh ordered the preliminary injunction against Galaxy Nexus. This injunction, though preliminary, posts a great threat to Samsung’s reputation and sales. The district judge’s order of injunction specifically prohibits the Samsung device from being sold in U.S. stores. However, this can be effective as soon as Apple posts a nearly 96 million-dollar bond.
With this decision from the court, it seems like fate favors Apple Inc. In fact, the injunction is its second legal triumph over Samsung. The same ruling was also given by the same judge against Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. Although, an additional hearing must be done before this will take into effect, the iPhone-maker already posted a bond of $2.6 million to back up potential damages just in case the decision will be reversed.
But as expected, Samsung immediately filed a motion in appeal to the preliminary injunction granted to Apple against Nexus. According to Samsung’s spokesperson, the court’s decision is totally unfair and inconsistent. Additionally, Samsung states that the court’s findings of Apple to suffer badly on Nexus’ infringement on some of its patents are completely fallacious and are not backed up with sufficient evidences. Samsung stresses out that they are not in direct competition with Apple Inc. Thus, the court must to prove further that the Apple’s market share losses must be “substantial” in accordance to the Federal Circuit’s directive.
However, while the court’s order won’t be in effect, selling of Galaxy Nexus will still go on. Currently, the Android smartphone costs $349 in some leading stores.
The legal matters taken by the two companies will somehow take long. With the strong contention that the two technology giants have, the outcome of this case will surely interest consumers — both Apple and Samsung enthusiasts. But as of the moment, all we can do is to wait and keep eye on some current technology news for us to check on the updates of Apple and Samsung disputes. After all, additional hearing must be done for the court’s ruling to take effect.

As we entered the second quarter of 2012, the market was presented with Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system. After the success of windows 7, the new operating system posts a whole new line of great features and functionality that has been the trademark of Microsoft for years.
However, the existence of ARM devices such as tablets enabled the computer giant to create another version of the new operating system: the one that won’t run on usual Intel chips. Dubbed as windows RT, this version of windows isn’t powered by Intel chips. Current technology news has revealed that windows RT will be run by chipmakers Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments. For a company that produced operating systems powered by Intel for many years, this is a huge technological revolution.
However, being the first mainstream, desktop-class Windows operating system to run on ARM chips, Windows RT faces skepticism among majority. Microsoft which will only sell Windows 8′s new facet to device manufacturers seem to face some obstacles to find receptive buyers who will adapt it on their devices. It was initially made clear by Microsoft that only a handful of RT devices will be released initially. But it seems like the expected limited first wave of devices will be “too limited.”
Current technology news has circulated in the web just recently that HP won’t be offering any ARM-based Windows 8 tablet this year. The decision of Hewlett-Packard to favor Intel-based tablets heightened the suspicion of many that the Windows8 on ARM won’t be a huge success. Most analysts say that HP’s surprising move might be an omen of what will be the future of Win8-ARM format — most especially that it was made public right after the unveiling of Microsoft’s Surface tablets. This was denied by HP, saying that they have made the decision before Surface was publicized. The big Silicon Valley computer-maker stresses out that they are not completely shunning the Windows RT. HP is not just ready to produce tablets which will run the said Windows facet. Whether this reluctance of HP is permanent or not, this has created a big impact on the market’s perception towards Windows RT and Windows 8 in general.
Moreover, current technology news has revealed that windows RT version of win8 running on ARM chips would not be backward compatible with Intel-based Windows 8. This is a huge snag for RT since most consumers have trusted Intel for how many years already. The reason behind this issue is still unclear as of the moment. Whether it is because of Microsoft, the chipmakers or of the RT itself, one thing is certain: this will lead to a staggered release of RT tablets, laptops, and hybrids.
Microsoft, on the other hand, is cautious on these snags about Windows RT. The computer giant is working on with the three chipmakers mentioned above to make the release of RT tablets nothing but perfect. It is said that Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments are restricted to developing their chips into two devices apiece, meaning six total designs. Nvidia, in particular, is working with a number of device makers to produce Windows RT devices which are expected to be released next year together with some Intel-based Windows 8 products.

Over the years, Apple Inc. has been consistently top in its field. Needless to say, market appeal of Apple products are incomparable than others. But not recently when smartphones and android tablets from other reputable brands have dominated the market. However, there is one product that somehow stays on top despite the tough completion: the iPad.
iPad, being one of Apple’s gem, which is now on its third upgrade, has faced numerous rivals. Many androids which serve as platform for audio-visual media have been in the market for quite sometime but somehow nothing proves to outshine Apple’s tablet computer.
However, many are saying that 2012 is the year that iPad’s reign will end as Microsoft is said to be launching its latest touch screen slate which runs in Windows RT, a feature of the anticipated Windows 8. Rumors have been circulating that the Redmond-giant is cooking up something that would put the company directly in competition with Apple’s iPad.
Well, this is something huge as we know that iPad3 (third generation) has been unveiled just recently. With the powerful features that the new iPad have such as its dual core A5X processor with quad-core graphics, can we expect something more powerful from Microsoft? The features of iPad3 seem hard to top. Not to mention that we have seen other Microsoft products before which failed to outshine and keep up with iPad’s popularity.
Notably, Microsoft had launched devices which directly challenged iPad before. If you could still remember the laptop hybrid with stylus and the Courier – a foldable dual-touch screen tablet were launched. Both have great hardware and software features. However, both were also failure in its attempt to end iPad’s rule.
The rumor that Microsoft will manufacture this touch screen tablet accordingly came from a person who has knowledge about the company. The Wrap reports that the particular person said that Microsoft is in the process of “making a foray into a new hardware category that would put the company in direct competition with rival Apple.”
Features and components of the software giant’s “new product” weren’t revealed in details. All we know is that it will be powered and anchored with Windows 8. Although we have taken a glimpse of how awesome Windows 8 is, many are uncertain that this facet is enough to draw the public from choosing the new tablet over iPad3. Windows 8 could offer a variety of applications for the platform ready to be integrated on PC, phone and tablet. But are the high-end facets of the new flavors of Windows software enough to end the reign of iPad?
Well that is hard to answer for now. With the presence of other powerful and affordable tablets and androids in the market today, introducing another product that directly challenges existing ones is indeed a risk. What we can do as of the moment is to wait and see what Microsoft can offer us. After all, this is a business. We’ll go for the ones that could offer us the best value for our money.

The final quarter of 2011 marked the domination of iPhone4s, a smartphone manufactured by Apple Inc. With a good marketing strategy paired with commercials and ads that appeal to all walks of life, iPhone somehow dominated the realm of mobile devices. Not to mention the sensationalized death of Steve Jobs added to the marketing appeal of iPhone4s and other Apple Inc.’s devices. This totally raised an advantage over android phones.
However, the early quarter of 2012 threatens the iPhone domination as Samsung, HTC, LG and other reputable brands introduced their top of the line android phones that obviously surpass the features of the celebrated iPhone 4s. Whether the rises of android phones have shaken iPhones’ sales or not, one thing is for sure: it influenced to the upcoming release of iPhone 5.
With the high-end features of android phones such as 1.5 Ghz quad core processors, 12MP rear cameras and internal memories that can handle up until 32GB, smartphone enthusiasts can’t hide their anticipation for what iPhone has to offer. Apple Inc. has not officially set the exact release date of the new smartphone yet rumors circulated that it will be around September. Most people could not wait that long. That is why when the recent news about iPhone 5 parts was leaked, it sparked interest among majority.
Leaked parts are pointing to prototypes that have largely similar form factor. These parts, however, suggest that there will be no significant change in the phone’s aesthetics. Aside from its larger 4-inch screen, it is said that there will be no major “shock value” for the iPhone 5. In fact, it may be a disappointing to see that it will be just an elongated version of its predecessors. Whatever its appearance will be, the important thing is that it is packed with features that will surpass other smartphones and androids in the market. After all, Apple should justify the anticipation of the public by producing something that would end the domination of other brands.
Surely, the new iPhone will run on iOS 6. In addition, there will be minor tweaks and big improvements for people to get the best out of their smartphone experience. Notable enhancements with the iOS 6 are in Siri. Being the “bomb” of iPhone 4s, Siri still highlights the important features of the new iPhone. Notably, Siri can give you score updates of sports’ major leagues, movie trailers, and even restaurant reviews among many other features.
Additionally, there will be Facebook integration and mail functions that are more powerful than the current iOS. All these and many more are part of the 200 new features that will be available for the new iOS version.
Perhaps the new hardware and software improvements for iPhone 5 may be enticing to hear. However, other smartphones which are similar or even better are already in the market today. In addition, companies like HTC and Samsung will be extra competitive in marketing their products. With that being said, one challenge is posed for Apple Inc.: will they be able to dominate the market again?
Well, let’s wait for the anticipated release of the iPhone 5. After all, the said “leaked parts” are nothing but speculations. Who knows Apple is cooking something that will ultimately raise the bar in smartphone manufacturing?
W e are happy and exited to launch L’Express Media. We have more portfolios and services that will be up on the site. So come back often to stay up date.
